I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, based at the internationally renowned St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. My special interests include facial reconstruction following skin cancer surgery, breast surgery, complex hand and microsurgery and a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures.
I trained extensively in plastic surgery before becoming a Consultant in the NHS and developing a private practice in Essex and East London. I was the Clinical Tutor in plastic surgery for three years and am responsible for the training of Plastic Surgeons prior to their appointment as Consultants. I was a co-founder of the prestigious Mentor Cosmetic Fellowship, one of two such posts in the UK for the senior-most trainees in plastic surgery.
I am a member of several specialist professional bodies, including the British Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), for which I am also an Examiner.
I have 15 years of experience in cosmetic surgery in the private sector and a well-established and busy cosmetic surgery practice in Essex, supported by a Practice Manager, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and three secretaries.
